Kate holds a Master of Screenwriting from the Victorian College of the Arts and Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and art history.

For over two years she was the Development and Production Coordinator at Werner Film Productions where she worked on a slate of projects including The Newsreader (ABC), Clickbait (Netflix) and Surviving Summer (Netflix).

Her web series fine. was selected for the SBS and Screen Australia Digital Originals initiative which received mentorship from director/producer, Anna Dokoza (Flight Of The Conchords, Lady Dynamite, Special) and Ryan O’Connell, writer, producer and star of the Emmy-nominated Netflix short-form series, Special.

Her vertical series Scattered launched exclusively on TikTok with support from Screen Australia and Film Victoria.
